Chicago
A Musical Vaudeville
Book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb
Based on the play Chicago by Maurine Dallas Watkins
On the Mainstage
November 19 – December 11
A musical about two utterly flawed women: Velma, who killed her husband and sister after finding them in bed together, and Roxie, who murdered her boyfriend when she discovered he wasn’t going to make her a star. They are on death row together and fighting for the fifteen minutes of fame that will save them from the gallows. It’s sinful, scandalous, decadent, and delightful.
Note: There will be no performance Friday November 25, 2011
