Sunsets and Margaritas
A remarkable comedy with a big heart
By José Cruz González
In the Studio Theatre
September 16 – October 9
Meet the Serranos, a wacky Mexican-American family. Father drives his car through the wall of his diner; the son has a panic attack and sees a vision of the Virgin of Guadalupe as a wisecracking stand-up comedian; and the daughter, a lesbian Latina Republican, can’t decide on a name for her sperm-donor baby. A larger than life satire.
